When you hop in your car and head out to Freedom Weekend Aloft this Memorial Day Holiday, don't forget your smartphone because we're going out with Gowalla. Gowalla is a popular location based "Check In" service that allows you to discover new places, collect virtual stamps & pins, and share your experiences with your friends & family.
This year we have our very own custom Gowalla stamp and we want to share it with you when you come to the event. It's easy to do; All you need is a FREE Gowalla account and a Gowalla powered app on your mobile phone.
Already have our iPhone app? Gowalla is integrated directly into our app. Just go to the "more" tab, and then touch "Check In". View who has checked in to the event, view photos posted on Gowalla, and "check in" yourself.
Up until the event, the app will be displaying and posting check ins for Heritage Park in Simpsonville. When the event launches May 27th, you'll be able to grab our custom stamp and see updates for the custom event.
Be sure to follow us on Gowalla as we "check in" at key locations before and after the event.
Also, don't forget to install the Gowalla mobile app so you can continue to check in and share your travels and experiences. Gowalla is available for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Palm, and iPad.
